Tout juste 7 mois après son premier essai "The Great Noise", Silent
Bells persiste et signe avec son premier LP, dans une
lignée et un genre qui lui vont plutôt bien. A l'image de
ce que suggère son nom, Mozaïc est un
véritable patchwork, un ensemble hétéroclite au
sein duquel les influences et les couleurs se mélangent, voire
se heurtent, sans jamais réellement se mettre au diapason. Et si
la musique electronique en célèbre l'union, elle tent
aussi le grand écart entre rock, dub et world-ambient. Cette
nouvelle sortie de Silent Bells synthétise
l'instrumental et l'analogique, l'acoustique et l'électronique,
apportant à chacune de ses facettes bien plus qu'une simple
touche d'exotisme.

Just seven months after releasing his first discographic trial "The
Great Noise", Silent Bells strikes back with his
first LP in a mood/style of his own. As the title of the album
suggests, Mozaïc is a real patchwork, an motley
ensemble filled with influences and colors that are mixed together,
even crushed, without never reaching the perfect harmony. Electronic
music leads this union, creating a cross-over between rock, dub and
world-ambient. This new Silent Bells release presents
a synthese between instrumental, analogic, acoustic and electronic
musics, trying to bring to each one more than just an exotic touch.
"Mozaïc" features a real downtempo collaboration with spanish
dj/producter [wi-ni]2.0 on "La
Herencia".
